Step 2.Lead-in

A. Show the teaching aims on blackboard. (The teacher explains to Ss.)
1. The new words:

C: What time does Rick usually get up? B: He usually gets up at five o’clock . B. Learn new words and phrases and the methods of describing time..
1.Using pictures to learn the target words.
2. After they finish learning the target words. I will ask them to open the books and turn to P65. I will teach 1a This activity introduces the key words.
After they finish, I will give them the right answers. 3.I show the students the methods of describing time. C: Practice.
T shows some times on the screen and asks Ss to answer.

3.Then T use the same pictures asks Ss to answer the questions; What time does he get up/have breakfast/go to school? Ss answer freely.
4. Ss work in small groups of four students. Some volunteers present their dialogues. Step4.Exercises

Step5. Summary .
