摘要：The present invention relates to a damper comprising a cylinder (10) and apiston (12) slideably received therein to define two primary oil chambers (14,16) in saidcylinder (10) and comprising an auxiliary oil chamber (28) in conjunction with a solenoid(42) operated pilot valve (34). According to the present invention, said pilot valve (34)comprises another member, preferably an integral disk, which, while partitioning a valvechamber which accommodates a valve body (34b) of the pilot valve (34), closes a pilotpassage (36) which is operated by said pilot valve (34) in connection with the auxiliary oilchamber (28), when said solenoid (42) is de-energised.
