教学目标

知识技能目标

1. 能读懂关于季节的故事,巩固关于季节的四会单词spring,summer,autumn,winter, season,以及四季里典型活动的四个词组: go on a picnic,go swimming,pick apples,make a snowman的听说读写,练习在不同语境中正确使用季节相关单词和词组描述四季及其典型活动。

2. 巩固句型Which season do you like best? What’s your favourite season? Why? ... because I ...的正确应用,同时练习掌握Which season does he/she like best? What’s his/her favourite season? Why? ... because he/she likes ...句型,能够在教师的帮助下总结、归纳why和because的用法。 3. 能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

2. 培养学生及时复习和注意积累的习惯。

情感态度目标

1. 培养学生英语学习兴趣,能准确大方的用英语表达自己所喜爱的季节,并陈述理由。

Step1 Preparation

1. Greeting: Good afternoon, boys and girls. Nice to meet you!

2. Sing a song “What’s your favourite season?” Please clap your hands and sing. 3. Free talk

How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?

Ss: Four. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. Divided the Ss into four groups.

T: Which season do you like best? Why? What’s your favourite season? Why?

Step 2 Pre-reading

T: It’s spring now. I like spring. Because I can go on a picnic. Look, Wu Yifan’s family are having a picnic. And Wu Yifan is telling a story to his parents. Let’s read the story together. The story is “magic glasses”. 利用眼镜实物和图片教学glasses, magic。

T: Look, Who are they? Where are they? What are in Robin’s hand? 学生说人物姓名并回答glasses.

T: Yes. They are not normal glasses. There are magic glasses.

1.Predict: T: Wu Yifan and his friends are playing in the park. Robin has some magic glasses for them.

T: Look, Sarah puts on the red magic glasses. What’s happened when she puts them on? Now look, listen and choose.

Which season does Sarah like best? A. Summer. B. Autumn. C. Spring.

Can Sarah go swimming in summer? A. No, he can't. B. Yes, she can.

Check the answers.

Read and answer: What can Sarah do in summer? Let one S read the paragraph for class.

T: Look, John put on the orange magic glasses. Which season can he see? Can John pick apples in autumn? Listen and answer. Check the answers.

T: What’s happened to Amy? She gets a pair of magic glasses, too. What colour are they? Read ,tick or cross. Underline the new word and discuss with your group member.

结合图片讲解skate是滑冰的意思。

T: Wu Yifan also get a pair of magic glasses. Which season does he like? Which season can he see? 教师引导学生回答Wu Yifan likes all the four seasons. He puts on the black magic glasses. But he can see nothing. 让学生结合图片猜测dream的意思是梦,回答时可用中文。教师简单教读dream, nothing, wake up。 8. Read the text paragraph by paragraph.

Students read the text paragraph by paragraph with the tips of the stress, tones and feelings.

9. Watch the whole story

Look at the picture and retell the story. 课件依次出示故事图片和主要句型,以图片为引导回顾整个故事。教师示范Mike图,学生小组讨论完成其他三个。

【设计意图】通过图片复述故事,培养学生良好的学习方法。 Step 4 After-reading 1. Finish the dialogue

T: Panda and Koala are talking about their favourite seasons.

完成Panda和Koala的对话的对话内容,要求能说出正确答案即可。

同时,通过Koala引出世界上季节的不同分布特点。以中国和澳大利亚为代表,说明地球南北半球季节相反。Canada and the UK are the same with China.

【设计意图】让学生灵活应用季节相关知识;渗透地理文化常识,培养学生国际意识。

2. Ask and write

Work in pair: Which season do you like best? Why? Which season does your partner like best? Why?

写几句话介绍自己和同桌最喜欢的季节及原因和经常做的活动,并在单线格中认真书写下来。教师视情况可以用课件呈现语言支架,词句提示。教师巡视,指导学生单线书写规则,做到书写工整规范。展示,评价。

教师课件呈现关于季节的短语,教师读,学生了解。

谚语生动形象,能较好激发学生的学习兴趣,还能丰富学生的语言知识,文化素养。

五年级的学生已经学过了两年半的英语,已经掌握一些话题和交际用语,学生对英语学习也掌握了一些方法和策略。五年级的学生,在三年级时已经学过关于颜色的词汇;在四年级的时候已经掌握了有关天气的话题语言。

五年级该班学生学习积极性比较高,学习氛围较好。能较好的开展小组活动和自主学习。这都为本节课的复习奠定了基础。

效果分析

本课主要目标是复习第二单元season话题,复习四会词:spring, summer, autumn, winter, season, go on a picnic, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman和主要句型:Which season do you like best? I like … best. Why? Because … 同时能读懂复述Magic glasses这个故事。

通过课上学生听说练习和课堂评测结果来看,本课教学目标基本完全达成,教学效果较好。

一是因为学生对本单元内容掌握较好。

二是在设计本课时,教师以小故事的形式呈现单元主要内容,内容新颖有趣,能较好吸引学生的兴趣。

三是教学过程中教学活动设计既有听说也有读写,能较好保证教学效果。

教材分析

本课是人教版小学英语

PEP教材五年级下册第二单元。单元话题是季节

season。要求学生能够听、说、读、写五个关于季节的单词: spring,summer, autumn,winter,season,以及四季里典型活动的四个词组: go on a picnic,go swimming,pick apples,make a snowman。能够在情景中运用句型句型 Which season do you like best? Winter. why? Because I like summer vacation! 询问并回答对季节的喜好,并简单陈述喜欢某个季节的理由。

单元话题跟学生生活很贴近,学生易于理解,且积极性比较高。

课后反思

本课是PEP五年级下册 Unit2单元复习课,单元主题话题是:My favourite season. 我本课主要目标是复习第二单元season话题,复习四会词:spring, summer, autumn, winter, season, go on a picnic, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman和主要句型:Which season do you like best? I like … best. Why? Because … 同时能读懂复述Magic glasses这个故事。

由于本课为复习课,教学内容较多,导致在教学时间把握上不够精准;在学生小组活动时,对学生的任务安排不够明确。这在今后的教学过程中要加以改进。

课标分析

小学英语课程标准,五年级对应的是二级要求的前段。要求学生要对继续学习英语有兴趣。 能用简单的英语互致问候,变换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息,并能就日常生活话题作简短叙述。能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事,能在教师的帮助下表演小故事或小短剧,演唱简单的英语歌曲和歌谣。能根据图片、词语或例句的提示,写出简短的描述。 在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教,初步形成对英语的感知能力和良好的学习习惯。乐于了解外国文化和习俗。
