1. Warm-up and revision (Work on 4a)(课堂热身和复习)
(1)T:We learned about three special museums in our last lesson. Can you name them? Display slide 3 and have Ss talk about the museums with their own ideas. T: Let’s review the phrases in the article.
Show the phrases in Chinese on Slide 4 and have Ss write each phrase in English. (2) Work on 4a
T: Read the following sentences and put the correct forms of the verbs in the blanks.

(1)T: Have you ever been to Disneyland? What famous Disney characters do you know? Show slide 7 and have Ss name the characters. T: Do you know them? Please name them.
Show slide 8 and introduce Disney Cruise and Disney island to Ss.
(2) T: Here is an article about Disneyland. Please read it and complete it by filling in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in brackets.
Check the answers as a class. Then have Ss complete the information card on slide 10. T: Read the article again and fill in the information card.

What places have you been to? Ask your partner.
Have Ss write down their questions for the survey and then write their own answers to each question. Then have Ss ask and answer each other’s questions in pairs. 教学设计说明:

Show the pictures of the four interesting places in China and have Ss match each picture with the correct name. Elicit Ss’ ideas about each place and encourage Ss to talk about what they have seen in these places.

Have Ss read the headings given in the note sheet and ask them to predict what kind of information they should put in for each heading. 教学设计说明:
通过这一活动,教授学生听力技能。第一遍听力,帮助学生进一步学习巩固学习现在完成时的一般疑问句,第二遍听力,让学生在听力中听出一些关键信息。
6. Post-listening (Exercise)
T: To test your understanding of the interview, complete the following sentences with the correct words. T: Now read the tapescripts together and try to imitate the pronunciation and intonation.
7. Post-listening (Work on 1d: Pair work)
T: Work in pairs. Imagine one of you is the foreign student who visited China and one of you is the interviewer. Have Ss prepare some questions before they conduct their interview. 8. Review (Exercise)
Have Ss write the sentences/questions in English to review the sentences they have learned in this lesson. 9. Homework
