摘要：Various processes and systems are disclosed for converting carbonaceousmaterials into a product gas stream. For instance, the product gas stream may beendothermically converted to a gas through a steam reforming process. The presentinvention is directed to various methods and systems for increasing throughput andefficiency of the system. Further, the present invention is also directed to sulfur removalmethods and systems from a gas stream. A thermo-chemical apparatus (10) is capable ofendothermically converting a carbonaceous material into a product gas stream.Apparatus (10) includes a fluidized bed (14) which is indirectly heated by one or morecombustion devices (12). Fluid bed apparatus (10) is provided with one or more materialintroduction ports (16) and also with port (28) near the bottom of the reactor forintroduction of a fluidization medium which maybe steam, a gas, evaporated liquids otherthan steam or a combination thereof.
