As is systematically demonstrated by the chart, there is an array of figures revealing the phenomenon in the number of undergraduates doing part-time jobs. It can be seen that the rate of senior students takes up 88.24%, followed by freshmen with the value of 67.77%, with the percentage of sophomores and junior students staying at the similar level of 71.13% and 71.93% respectively.

So what are the intangible reasons behind the phenomenon? From my perspective, the crucial factor to be considered is that students feel like relieving their family burden. There is no doubt in saying that doing part-time jobs, to a large extent, makes students earn living money and tutors, so they spend their own money, not their parents'. In addition, importance should be attached to the role played by career experience. With the society developing and part-time jobs bring an optimistic influence on their career experience owing to the truth that they are able to broaden horizons and develop the skill of career.

Based on the analysis made above, we can come to a conclusion, there is a trend for the number of undergraduates doing part-time jobs to keep ascending continuously in the near future.
