摘要：The invention relates to a device for the treatment of combustion air which canbe fed to a combustion chamber, in particular of a motor vehicle engine, a gas or oilfurnace, a power station or the like. The basic object is to propose a device to reduce theproportion of nitrogen and improve combustion. It is proposed that an accelerator screw
(2) with a spiral flow duct (4) and a radial external inlet aperture (6) be provided forfeeding in the combustion air. The flow duct (4) contains at least one separating element(12), in particular a separating wedge (14) and/or a partition wall (15), so that due to thecentrifugal force, the heavier oxygen and/or ozone molecules are led to a first outletaperture (18) connected to the combustion chamber and the lighter nitrogen moleculesare led to a second outlet aperture (22).
